Job Description
Join our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team as a Safety Specialist. You will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within our operations facilities. Your role involves conducting safety audits, investigating incidents, providing safety training, and working with leadership to implement and maintain robust safety programs. Your expertise will be vital in protecting our most valuable asset: our people.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the facility.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for associates and managers.
- Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on all health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
